Nonlinear Vibration Analysis of Fractional Viscoelastic Nanobeam

PurposeConsidering the size-dependent influence ignored by classical continuum mechanics, a new non-classical Euler–Bernoulli beam model is proposed in this paper. The fractional viscoelastic nanobeam set up using Kelvin–Voigt and Hamilton’s principle. And studies total effects of nonlocal elasticity, modified couple stress, surface energy.MethodsThe represented integral-partial differential governing equation solved Galerkin’s predictor–corrector methods. First, energy, their coupling impact on nonlinear time response free vibration are analyzed. Then, frame couple-stress elasticity energy theory, different parameters responses forced discussed.Results ConclusionThe numerical results show that order must be considered modeling nanobeam, system’s damping enhances increase order.
